Successful Steps

As part of my research and work with stepfamilies I've been fortunate enough to get to know some fantastic people - stepmums, stepdads, their partners, even their children! While this site is focused on the fact that we're all stepfamilies I think it's equally important to recognise our many other talents! As a way of saying 'thank you' for helping me with my research, my book - and of course Happy Steps I've dedicated this page to help (in a small way!) stepfamilies grow their own businesses.

All the services ands products advertised below are run by stepfamily members. If you contact any of the businesses don't forget to say that you found them via Happy Steps. If you're interested in adding your business then just contact us with details of your company and a little bit of background on your family. We'll be happy to include you.

Sarah has been a stepmum for almost 10 years now and has a 19 year old stepson. Her company is called Awakenings and uses Spiritual Astrology and Spiritual Accompaniment to help you explore your own personal and spiritual development . She does not provide predictive astrology readings but instead uses your birth chart as a map of your essential self, identifying themes, challenges, strengths and patterns of energy in order to facilitate a deepening of your personal journey and levels of awareness. Use of astrology in this way enables the truth of ourselves to be revealed and distilled, thus promoting greater self-awareness and insight. Sarah provides face to face consultations in North East Wales, and written postal readings. The latter are not computer generated, but are personalised readings specific to the individual. Consultations and readings cost £35. Tel: 01352 733219 or email sarahvarcas@hotmail.com for more info
